Suspects Arrested in Bloomfield Vandalism

On August 24, 2016 at approximately 5am, Bloomfield Police Officers were dispatched to the Multicultural Center on South 1st Street regarding a burglary and vandalism.

Officers found the library was severely vandalized and had been burglarized, numerous windows were broken out and several walls had items thrown completely through them. Additionally, fire extinguishers had been sprayed around the building. The building sustained tens of thousands of dollars in damage to both the interior and exterior of the building.

The initial investigation did produce a few leads. Officers and Detective were able to connect the evidence at the scene to two juvenile suspects. The juveniles were located and apprehended within a matter of hours. The juveniles were subsequently arrested and are in the custody of the Juvenile Probation Department at this time.

"Although I am very disappointed this happened in our community, I am very proud of the officers and detective on scene who did a great job of locating the suspects, processing the scene, developing suspects, and conducting interviews simultaneously. Adrian Begay followed them to the exterior of the residence when De Andre Julian produced a handgun and shot Adrian Begay multiple times in the chest at close range.

  • Arrest Made in Farmington Killing

    After a lengthy investigation, Ms. Greenfield’s death was determined to be a homicide and detectives identified 27-year-old Serrono Rippingale as the suspect. On June 26th, 2025, an arrest warrant for Murder (2nd degree felony) and Tampering with Evidence (3rd degree felony) was obtained and served on Serrono Rippingale.
